With 25 annual Ramblers Worldwide and Adagio holidays under his belt, Christopher Enraght-Moony is certainly one of our longest-standing and most loyal clients, and we were delighted to welcome him here to our Lemsford Mill HQ recently. Frank Vukovich has had a long love affair with the Adriatic, and he developed and led the first Adagio holiday focusing on the culinary, scenic and cultural delights of Istria, the northern part of the Croatian coast bordering Slovenia and only a short distance from Trieste and Venice, one of the county’s less well-known regions.

For once not leading a tour for RWH, Eileen and Paul Lyons spent a welcome few days’ winter holiday in Ragusa Ibla in the Val di Noto in south-east Sicily, familiar to fans as the scenic setting for TV’s Inspector Montalbano series.

When you’re leading a group, you are always concentrating fully on them, totally absorbed on making their holiday the best possible, looking out for their safety while making sure that none of the sights or experiences are missed. It’s pretty full on, and hugely enjoyable.
